Agnes L. Bruder Matlaga, 97, of Freehold, formerly of Linden and Roselle, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 22, 2023.

Agnes was born and raised in Roselle and lived in Linden from 2006 – 2010 before moving to Freehold.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Memorial Mass which will be offered in St. Elizabeth R. C. Church Linden on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 10am. (Please arrive at church by 9:50am). The burial of cremains will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery Colonia.

Agnes was a member of the St. Mary of the Assumption Church 60+ Club Elizabeth, St. Joseph the Carpenter Church Roselle Rosary Altar Society, Roselle Active Seniors Club and the Ladies Auxiliary Linden Knights of Columbus 2859.

Agnes was the beloved mother of Robert Matlaga and his wife Elizabeth, William Matlaga and his wife Maria, Carol Mactas and her partner Eric Schwartz, Marilyn Levine and her husband Allen and Arlene Jennings and her husband Jerry.  Devoted sister of the late Edward, Raymond, Robert Bruder and the late Florence Cavalier.She was the cherished grandmother of Scott Mactas, Alec Mactas, Elizabeth Levine, Kate Jennings, Emily Jennings, Brian Matlaga, Michael Matlaga and Kenneth Kosza. Also surviving are 8 great grandchildren. In Lieu of Flowers donations to stjude.org in her memory would be appreciated.
