Angel Manuel Soto, 89, of Iselin, entered into eternal rest on Saturday January 21, 2023. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral from the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home 301 East Blancke Street Linden on Thursday January 26 at 9am. The Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Elizabeth R.C. Church Linden 10am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery North Arlington. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 5pm - 8pm. Angel was born in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico and lived in Elizabeth from 1952 - 2002 before moving back to Puerto Rico. He then lived in Iselin the past 9 months. Angel proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a Lead Mechanical Engineer for the Capital Box Corp Jersey City for 15 years retiring 24 years ago. Previously he worked for Allstate Paper Box Co. Elizabeth. Angel was the loving father of Alberto Soto, Angel Soto, Lisa Torres and her husband Alex, Alba Soto and her husband Julio and the late Richard Soto. Cherished grandfather of Jenny, Heather, Solomon, Jianna, Roman, Joshua, Maya, and Anthony. Great-grandfather of Hayden, Isabelle, Trent and Izabella. Brother of William and Manuel Soto, Alina Fiala, Anna, Gladys, Paula, Alba, Aminta, Julia, Lydia and Maria Luisa Soto.
