Ann Marie Margaglione Angelo, 80 of Monroe, NJ entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 29, 2024.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 9 a.m. from the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home, 301 E. Blancke Street, Linden. The Funeral Mass will be offered in St. John the Apostle Church Linden/Clark at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ. Visiting hours are on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m.
Ann Marie was born in Elizabeth, NJ, and grew up in Linden with her late parents, Sal & Minnie and brother Lou. She later started her family in Linden with her husband Tom. After retirement they settled in Monroe, NJ eleven years ago.
She was employed for the Superintendent of Union County School's as a secretary for many years before she retired. Previously she along with her husband Tom owned A Village Florist & Gift Shop in North Plainfield for many years.. Ann Marie was an avid gardener, cook and enjoyed seeing broadway shows with her many friends. She loved having sleep overs with her grandchildren over the years as well as trying new restaurants with her husband. Her infectious laugh, warm smile and generous hospitality always made their home an enjoyable place to gather and share a meal and some wine.
Ann Marie was the loving wife to the late Thomas Angelo who passed away in 2019. She was the loving mother of Thomas Angelo and his wife Andrea and Michelle Angelo Santoro and her husband Benito. Dear sister to Louis Margaglione. Cherished grandmother and Nana to Ali, Thomas, Emily, Benito and Alex.
