Ann (Annie) C. Gobel, 69, a lifelong Linden resident entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 3, 2026.

Annie was born in Elizabeth to the late Bernard F. Sr, and Rita C. Zotterelli Gobel.

Annie worked for the City of Linden in the Public Properties Department for several years and was a 1975 graduate of Linden High School.

Annie was the loving mother to Peter Jay, Andy Robert, Christy Marie, Michael Jay, Ryan Lee and Emily May Gobel. Sister to Bernard F. Gobel Jr., and his wife Sue and Robert P. Gobel and his wife Annmarie. Sister to the late Carol Vitale. Cherished grandmother to Camden, Emersyn and Stephan. Aunt to Jackie, Kelsey, Lauren, Bobby, Dean and Colleen Vitale Richards.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation in the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home, 301 E. Blancke Street, Linden on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 from 2pm to 4 pm.  A Funeral Service will be held at 3:30 PM in the funeral home.
