Born in 1929 in Minersville, PA, to descendants from Zakarpattia oblast, Transcarpathia Ukraine;  Anna and Harry were married in Sts. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Minersville PA on May 29, 1955. They moved to Elizabeth, NJ, and became parishioners of St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Catholic Church.  With her husband Harry and daughters, they settled in Linden in 1967, and were parishioners of St. Thomas the Apostle Byzantine Catholic Church, Rahway.  She was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and multiple committees at the parish.

Anna was known for her sense of humor, compassion for others, generosity, and her wit. She was an accomplished seamstress, cook, camper, and gardener who shared her talents and lessons with anyone willing to learn. Anna shared the gift of deep faith and trust in God always. She was very happy to be surrounded by family and friends every holiday. Family traditions, get-togethers, phone calls and notecards were important ways to stay connected.
