Antoinette
Gilliam
November 16, 1962 – November 23, 2024
Antoinette Gilliam Sunrise 11-16-1962 Sunset 11-23-2024 Mrs. Antoinette Gilliam, age 62, was born on November 16, 1962 in Wilson, NC to Joan Hardy and the late Lawrence James Hardy. Antoinette was preceded in death by her husband Bryant Gilliam; two sons Antwan Moody and Davon Miller; granddaughter Autumn Miller; one brother Reginald Lamont Hardy. Celebrating her memory are her loving family: mother, Joan Hardy of Trenton, NJ; two sons, Michael and Bashaun Miller of Trenton, NJ; daughter, Michelle Miller of Langhorne, PA; three sisters, Bridget Enmond of Trenton, NJ; Paula (Tyrone) Copeland of Reading, PA; Buffy Hardy of Trenton, NJ; two brothers, James Tyrone Hardy of Trenton, NJ; Peter Artis of Durham, NC; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends. Antoinette received her early education in the Trenton Public School system earning a High School Diploma. She then went on to attend Levittown Beauty Academy where she was certified as a beautician in 1998. Shortly after, Antoinette founded Mi' Antwan's Beauty Salon, a lifelong dream of hers. "Annet", as she was affectionately called, was an excellent cook and didn't mind sharing what she cooked with others. Some of her specialties were baked Chicken Alfredo, jalapeño baked macaroni and cheese, garlic chicken, broccoli slaw and let's not forgett her "famous" sweet potato turnovers. Antoinette enjoyed spending time in her home recreating beauty. She loved to paint and refurbish furniture. Antoinette was a self-proclaimed jack of all trades and was an excellent interior decorator. She was a fashionista and always rocked unique styles and was very color coordinated. But above all, although Antionette wasn't baptized , she studied on a regular basis and in her heart she was a Jehovah's witness, she wasn't perfect as none of us are, but she really turned her life around for the best , she really did the work to be a better person, she just wanted to do better and be a better person for Jehovah God, that was #1 for her, if you were around her , you could see the difference in her life-style change, Antoinette really tried hard to make the change, it was really important to her , we all will miss her dearly.
