Arlene E. (Starr) Neri, 84, formerly of Elizabeth, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 11, 2026.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, January 17, 2026 in the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home, 301 E. Blancke Street, Linden from 1pm to 5pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home at 3pm.

Arlene was born and raised in Elizabeth where she lived for 50 years, then moved to Rahway, then Manchester.

She was a professional waitress for many years working at various restaurants including Eddies Inn, Sunrise Diner and 20 years at Spirito's in Elizabeth.

Beloved wife of the late Frank Neri who passed away in 2014 and her first husband Victor Rumpp who passed away in 2020. Loving mother of Steven Rumpp and Russell Rumpp and the late Donna Helm. Step-mother of Shena Chapman. Cherished grandmother to Abigal Rumpp and Bret Helm.
