Arlinda DaSilva Barbosa, 76, of Elizabeth, NJ entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 17, 2023.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Monday, February 20, 2023 in the 1 ^st Igreja Batista Del Lingua Church 1265 Durant Street Elizabeth, NJ from 5 to 7pm. Then on Tuesday, February 21 ^st visitation will be in the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home 301 E. Blancke Street Linden from 9am to 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Rosedale Memorial Park, Linden.

Arlinda was born in Campina Grande, Brazil and came to the Bronx in 1962. She then lived in North Bergen from 1988 before moving to Elizabeth in 1996.

She was employed as a Custodian at the Carl Sandburg Middle School in Old Bridge for the past 30 years.

She was the loving wife to the late Jose M. Barbosa who passed away in 2004. Loving mother to Ricardo Salem, Fabiano Silva and Yvette Veloso and her late husband Herculano who passed away in 2011. Cherished grandmother to Danny Veloso, Vanessa Veloso, Melissa Salem, Nathlia Moreira, Daniella Salem, Lukas Silva and Johnathan Silva and great-grandmother to Elias.
