Barbara Gersick Zsak, 83, of Cream Ridge, N.J. entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 12, 2025.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 in the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home, 301 E. Blancke Street Linden from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday June 18th at 11 a.m.

Barbara was born and raised in Linden where she lived for 50 years before moving to South Brunswick for 20 years and Cream Ridge for the past 3 years.

Whether she was comforting her treasured grandkids, solving a crossword puzzle, or securing the missing phrase for Wheel of Fortune, she always found the right words.

Barbara was the wife to the late Donald Zsak. She was the loving mother to Peter Pastelak and his wife Laura, Lisa Grunder and her husband Kevin, and Barbara Pastelak Zychowski and her husband Gregory and the late Susan Pastelak Marzano. Sister and sister in-law to the late Joseph Gersick, Ralph and Nancy Gersick, Walter and Eve Gersick, Mary and Matthew Hero, Teresa and Vincent DaSilva. She is survived by a sister in-law Ethel Gersick. Cherished grandmother to Brittany Thebner, Leslie Zychowski, Kevin Grunder, Jr., Rachael Zychowski, Peter Pastelak, Jr., Liam Pastelak and Kieran Pastelak. Great- grandmother to Cameron and Saverina Thebner.

In lieu of flowers donations to the American Lung Association in Barbara's memory would be appreciated.
