Brian Ledford was born in Newark, New Jersey at Beth Israel Hospital on July 24, 1970.

He was the second child of Richard and JoAnne Ledford.

Brian spent his early years in Newark, NJ, Raleigh NC, and Palatine, IL surrounded by

the love and support of his family. His formative years were spent in Roswell, GA,

where he graduated from Roswell High School. It was in Raleigh where he discovered

a passion for soccer and developed superior skills that he exhibited through travel

teams, in high school and into college where he secured a position as a walk-on.

Brian’s pursuit of knowledge led him to Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA,

where he expanded his mind and cultivated friendships that would last a lifetime.

Brian’s career journey was as diverse and vibrant as he was. From his early days as a

fry cook to his ventures in auto detailing and various sales roles, his winning personality

shone brightly. However, it was in entrepreneurship that Brian found his calling,

establishing TLBL (The Legendary Brian Ledford) Solutions, LLC, a general contracting

business he passionately led for over a decade. His dedication and hard work left an

indelible mark on the industry and all who had the privilege of working with him.

Brian was many things – a beloved son, devoted husband, loving father, caring brother,

and loyal friend. He married the love of his life, Maribeth Unger, on July 29, 2009. They

raised two amazing boys, Noah and Ian, and he cherished every moment he spent with

them. Brian’s life was shaped by the meaningful connections he nurtured, from the

stories that filled rooms with laughter to peaceful fishing trips with friends and the

special moments he shared with his godson, Cam. He loved deeply, gave freely and

had an unmatched generosity of spirit. He invested in people, remembering their

stories, checking in on them, celebrating their victories and standing by them through

hardships. His presence was a source of warmth, laughter – so much laughter – and

comfort, leaving a legacy of love and faith that will continue to inspire those who knew

him.

Brian’s faith was unwavering and he worshipped with various churches throughout his

lifetime. Wherever God placed him, Brian would find a way to invest in and build the

church, whether it was through using his construction skills, serving the unhoused

community, or mentoring young boys, which was particularly meaningful to him. He

loved shaping them into successful young men and guiding them in their walk with

Jesus. His love of the Lord was steadfast, and even as he faced the challenges of

illness, his trust in God’s faithfulness only grew stronger. Brian often said, “God don’t

play about me!” – a testament to his unshakeable belief in divine love and care. While

his family and friends mourn his passing, they find solace in the knowledge that Brian is

now at peace, resting in his Savior’s presence.

Brian is survived by his beloved wife, Maribeth; his children, Noah and Ian; his parents,

Richard and JoAnne; his siblings, Rick and Heather; and a host of dear friends, relatives

and extended family members. Brian touched the lives of many, and his spirit will

continue to guide and inspire us all. As we celebrate his life, we remember the laughter,

love and light he brought to the world. May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory

be a blessing to all who knew him.

His life will be celebrated on June 27, 2026, at 11:00 am at Zion Missionary Baptist

Church, 888 Zion Circle, Roswell, GA 30075.
