Carl Frank Tanzola, 84 of Freehold died on September 6, 2026 at CentraState

Medical Center in Freehold, New Jersey. Carl was born in Newark, New Jersey to

the late Patrick and Nickolena (Sibada) Tanzola. Carl was also predeceased by his

late brother Patrick who he adored and missed so much.

Over the course of Carl’s life he lived in Elizabeth, Cliffwood Beach, Union

Beach, Rahway and he spent the last 10 years of his life in Freehold.

Carl was an honorably discharged veteran of the US Army where he served our

country proudly.

Carl worked for many years as a Punch Press Operator for the Short Run Stamp

Company in Linden, NJ.

Although a very hard worker, Carl enjoyed life and was an avid cruiser and one

who loved crabbing. He was also known for being a great conversationalist. His

loving children fondly remember him with his amazing tan and knew that he was

most happy wearing what they affectionately referred to as his ‘guinea tees’.

Carl is survived by his loving children, Joanne, Barbara, Tammy, Carl Michael,

and adored grandchildren, Elizabeth, Gabriella, Rachel, Elizabeth, Cooper,

Summer, Hunter, Chace, Keira, and Kailen.
