Chedo Lazich, 78, of Springfield, NJ, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 9:30am in Holy Ascension Serbian Orthodox Church, Elizabeth, NJ. Followed by the internment in Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, NJ.

Visitation will be held in the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home 301 E. Blancke Street, Linden on Friday September 15th from 5 to 8pm.

Chedo was born and raised in Gornji Rakovac, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He came to the United States with his family in 1996 settling in Elizabeth before moving to Springfield.

He was as Chemical Engineer for Apex Chemical Company in Linden for many years.

Chedo was the devoted husband of 45 years to Yelizaveta (Liza) Blank Lazich. Loving father to Dana Lazich and her husband Vitaly Zaslavsky and Elina Lawlor and her husband Matthew. Dear brother to Veljko Lazich and Milka Vukovic. Cherished grandfather to Polina, Aria and Asher.

He will be missed and remembered by family and friends.
