Dolores (Palys) M. Hynes, 85, a lifelong Linden, NJ resident entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 26, 2026. Relatives and Friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral from the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home 301 E. Blancke St. Linden on Monday February 2nd at 9am. The Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Elizabeth R.C. Church Linden 10am. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park Linden. Visiting hours are Sunday February 1st from 2pm. - 5pm.

Dolores was born in Elizabeth to the late Julius and Mary Goydic Palys and was a 1958 graduate of Linden High School.

She was employed as a customer service agent for MG Industry Co. in Linden for eight years before retiring in 2006. Previously she worked for Airco, in Murray Hill for 20 years and at Air Dyne in Elizabeth for 12 years as a customer service agent.

Dolores was a Linden Senior Citizen of the Year in 2014, member of the Mayors Youth Commission, Linden Cultural Society and was a long time volunteer for the Center for Hope Hospice.

She was the beloved sister of the late Lawrence Palys, cousin of Charles Derling and cherished friend of Roberto Aleman, also survived by many dear friends.
