Edith Salinas Fernandez, 73, of Linden, NJ entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 20, 2022.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday, December 23, 2022 from 5 to 8pm in the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home 301 E. Blancke Street, Linden. Cremation will be private.

Edith was born and raised in Arequipa, Peru, she came to the United States in 1972 settling in Perth Amboy before moving to Linden 48 years ago.

She was a Machine Operator for National Envelope in Union for 25 years before she retired in 2010.

Edith was the loving wife of 50 years to Juan C. Fernandez. Loving mother to John Fernandez and his wife Jeanne, Oscar Fernandez and Karina Roman and her husband Joseph. Dear sister to Ruth Oliva, Judith Carvenas and Elizabeth Guerrero DeLuna. Cherished grandmother to John, Jalyne, Joceolyne, Jacob Orion, Oscar, Julia and Konstantino Fernandez, Liam, Joseph and Lana Roman.
