Edna C. Taggart Mitricka, 87, of Linden, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 4th, 2023.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visitation in the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home 301 East Blancke Street Linden on Wednesday March 8th from 10:am - 12:30pm. A Funeral Service will then be offered by Rev Alex Cruz at 12:30pm. Entombment will be in Cloverleaf Memorial Park Woodbridge.

Edna was born and raised in Newark to the late Robert and Bessie Rommiehs Taggart and moved to Linden in 1955. Edna was employed by Burry Biscuit Co as a Packer from 1953-1955. She also worked at Franchett's Crullers from 1965-1980. Later in life, she worked part-time at Dave's Corner Store on Roselle Street for many years.

Edna was the beloved wife of the late Emial who died in 2003 and the loving mother of Elizabeth Delucia and her husband Luciano, Patricia Dalia (late husband John) and the late William Mitricka (wife Sue). Dearest sister of Charles Taggart and Kathleen Dunn. Cherished grandmother of Amanda Nezhoda, Krista Westlake, Allison Boggs, Nicholas Mitricka, Ashley Jackson, Keith Mitricka and the late Lucky Delucia Jr. Loving great-grandmother of Gianni Algarin, A.J. Westlake, Ava Nezhoda, Alyssa Westlake, Layla Nezhoda, Ariana Jackson, Augustis Boggs and Brooklyn Mitricka. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
