Eduardo Eblis Torres, age 68, peacefully passed away on Sunday, April 27th at his home in Linden, NJ. A loving husband to Maricecy Rodriguez Torres, and devoted father to Eric and Richard Torres.

Eduardo was known for being a hard worker, whether that was at his job or at home with his family, he always saw a job through to the end. He also knew with hard work came the reward, often enjoying the simple luxuries of life, a great meal with his family, a good show or movie, or just simply sitting outside in his yard.

He was a mechanic by trade for nearly 40 years, known for his deep passion and excitement for cars. He enjoyed collecting old car antiques, working on crafts and small projects in his garage while hours of the show Ridiculousness would play in the background. His presence in our lives will be deeply missed, but his spirit and his influence will live with us forever.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd from 11am-2pm, in the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home, 301 E. Blancke Street, Linden, followed by a brief sermon starting at 2 pm. We ask all that attend to please remain for the sermon beginning at 2pm.
