Elizabeth "Betsy" Hornung Koch, 72, of Winfield Park, NJ entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 5, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation in the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home, 301 E. Blancke Street Linden on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home at 6 p.m. Cremation is private.

Betsy was born in Scranton, PA, she was raised and lived in Linden before moving to Winfield Park in 1993.

She worked for ARC of Union County for several years before she retired.

Elizabeth was the most beautiful woman with a heart of gold. She created a beautiful family and raised so many people including her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and others. She lived an amazing life. She was loved and cherished by so many people. You could always count on her for anything.

Betsy was the loving wife to the late George W. Koch, Sr. who passed away in 2014. Loving mother to Ann-Margaret Gualtieri and her husband Richard, Elizabeth "Betsy" Sporer, George W. Koch, Jr. and his wife Carrie and Robert J. Koch and his wife Dana. Dear sister to Francis "Chip" Hornung, Sarah Kranick, Maryann Sullivan, Kathy Rosenberger, Theresa Toro and Debbie Villanti. Cherished grandmother to Amanda, Brian, D.J., Joel, Samantha, Megan, Melanie and Marissa. Great-grandmother to Riley, Layla, Jaxson and Mia.
