Frederick W. Schadt, 55, of Linden, NJ entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 19, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 12 noon from the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home 301 E. Blancke Street Linden. Visitation will be held in the funeral home from 10 am till time of service. Interment to follow in Rosedale Memorial Park Linden.

Frederick was born in Rahway, NJ on November 14, 1966 to Grace Hohl Schadt of Clark and the late Henry Schadt, Sr.

He was 1984 graduate of ALJ High School in Clark, and a 1984 graduate of Union County Vo-Tech for Heating and Air Conditioning.

Frederick was an independent contractor for the past 38 years. He was also a skilled carpenter, who enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating and spending time with family. He was also willing to help anyone who needed it and to teach others his skills. He was inseparable from his English Bull Dog, Mason, who misses him dearly.

Frederick was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife Judith Schadt, daughters Crystal Cappozzoli and Lena Cappozzoli, grandchildren Gianni, Alana and Talia; sisters Lisa Jo Jennings and her husband Chris, Cathy Faerber and her husband Glenn, and his brother Henry Schadt, Jr. and his wife Karen. Uncle to Samantha Hebert and her husband Daniel, Cathryn Michaels and her husband Chris, Nicole Faerber and her companion Dylan, Thomas Jennings, Walter Merfert and his wife Kristie and Michael Merfert and his wife Lynnse. Great uncle to Amelia, William, Tyler, Hailey and Sawyer.
