Gerard "Gerry" P. Monico, 72 a lifelong Linden resident entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 28, 2023.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 11am to 1pm in the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home, 301 E. Blancke Street Linden. A Funeral Service will then be held at 1pm. Cremation will be private. Interment of cremains will be held in St. Gertrude Cemetery on Saturday, November 11th. at 11am.

Gerry was born on May 29, 1951 to the late Judge Joseph C. Monico and Nora G. Howe Monico. He graduated from St. Elizabeth Grammar School and Linden High School in 1969.

He served in the United States Marine Corp on active duty from 1969 till 1971.

Gerry was employed in the Security Department for Exxon Corp/ Conoco Phillips in Linden for over 30 years before he retired in 2007.

He was the loving brother to Joseph A. Monico and his wife Tu, Francis X. Monico, James P. Monico and his wife Diane, Mary D. Monico and Anne R. Tkach and her husband Andy. Loving uncle to Nora Monico, Thomas Monico, Jamie Hutchison, Jon Hutchison, Andrew Tkach and Katie Tkach.
