Gina Mishkinis , 84, of union, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on March 27,2026.Born
on April 19,1941,she was raised in Elizabeth New Jersey. Gina was raised by her mother, Jean Festa,
and step-father Carmine Festa. Her biological father was a casualfy of serving in world war ll'
An only child, Gina was a quiet and reserved person and an outstanding student often recognized for
her academic achievements. Gina was a graduate of Battin High School and went on to a career as an
Administrative Assistant for Beneficial Finance for over 40 years. She was a devout Catholic and
attended mass regularly. Gina was also musically talented able to play both piano and organ'
However, her greatest musical skill was her voice which she shared with the church by singing in the
choir.
Gina never married. She socialized regularly with a few close friends and led a private life. She is
survived by a multitude of loving cousins
Services for Gina will be held at the Leonard Lee Funeral Home in Linden on Friday, April 10, 2026
from 9-10:30 a.m. folowed by 11 a.m. mass at St. Elizabeth's Church in Linden, then interment at St.
Gertrude's Cemetery in Colonia
