Jean A. Chery, 72 entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 30, 2022.

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation Saturday, May 21, 2022 in St. Elizabeth Episcopal Church 305 North Broad Street Elizabeth beginning at 8:30 a.m. A Funeral Service will begin at 10 a.m. in the Church. Interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery Hillside.

Jean was born and raised in Cabaret, Haiti. He came to the United States in 1974 settling in Irvington and Elizabeth.

He was a self- employed Real Estate Agent and Insurance Agent in Irvington for many years.

He was the loving brother to Marie Josta-Valcin, Mareline Aressu, Andremarthe Jeanlus, Yolaine Georges, Annette Voltaire and Dieumercie Deshommes. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
