Joan A. (Sharo) Sokoloski, 85, of Colonia NJ passed away at home on Wednesday May 8th, 2024.

Joan (Joanne) was born and raised in the Tremley Point section of Linden with her late parents Andrew & Anna Sharo and brother Andrew.  She later moved to Colonia where she resided for over 60 years.

Before working with her husband to build their business in New York City, Joanne was the longtime nurse for Dr. Theodore Katz in Linden.

Joanne will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 47 years, Henry Sokoloski; her daughters, Michele Murray & her husband Charles, Sandra Leshchanka and her fiancé Marc Boyler, and Lisa Sokoloski. She was also the loving grandmother and "Mimi" to her two cherished granddaughters Anna Murray and Danika Leshchanka.

Memorial services will be held for Joanne at a later date.
