John Brian Haug, age 59 of Philadelphia PA, passed away peacefully on March 24th 2025 surrounded by family. He was born January 10th 1966 to Janine (née Black) and John W Haug in the Kensington and Alleghany section of Philadelphia. He was an only child and became an honorary member of the Slavin family.  He was a devoted husband to Susan Haug (née Curtis) for 37 years (together for 40) and loving father to 4 children. John was a hard worker, dedicated to providing a good life for his wife, kids and grandkids. His sense of humor and personality created a fun and positive environment for everyone. Wherever he went, there was a chance he knew someone and had a story about them. John was a proud father and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents: Janine (née Black)  and John W Haug, his only aunt Eleanor MacBride, and best friend Reynold Slavin. He is survived by his wife, Susan Haug (née Curtis) , his children: Brittany Haug, Brooke Pascual (née Haug) and her husband Rudy Pascual, Bryan Haug and Breanne Haug; his grandchildren: Amaia Pascual, Rudy Pascual Jr., and a grandson, baby boy Haug coming in August.

John will be greatly missed not only by family, but by friends and coworkers. His legacy of kindness and selfless love will live on through his children and grandchildren.
