John W. Jannen, 71, of Linden, NJ entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 11, 2024.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home, 301 E. Blancke Street, Linden.

John was born in Elizabeth to the late John and Doris Bauer Jannen and came to Linden in 1958 graduating Linden High School in 1971 and also from Lincoln Technical School.

He was employed by L'Oreal in Clark for 13 years as a Line Operator retiring in 2012. Previously he was a Chemical Operator for American Cyanamid in Linden for 10 years.

John was the loving husband of 43 years to Janice R. Fellman Jannen. Loving brother to Linda Decker and Alice Nalepa. Loving uncle to Charlene Mey and loving uncle and Godfather to the late John Nalepa. Dear brother in-law to Diane Cowley (Rick) and their children Rick Jr., Stephanie (Jamie) and Raymond (Kristina). John was also a godfather to Raymond.
