John D. Kaelin, 97, of Spring Hill Florida, a former Linden, NJ resident entered into eternal rest on Saturday January 21, 2023.

He was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, he lived in Linden from 1957 to 2010 before moving to Florida.

John was Navy Veteran of WW2 serving in the European and Pacific Campaigns aboard the USS Battleship, Texas.

He was employed by N.J. Bell Telephone (Verizon) for 32 years retiring as a foreman in 1985.

He was the beloved husband to the late Josephine Fegan Kaelin who died in 1994. Loving father of Kevin Kaelin and his wife Jackie, Pat Kaelin and   Virginia, Michael Kaelin and his wife Gloria and Fr. Dennis Kaelin. Dearest grandfather of Dana Saporito and Madison Kaelin. Great-grandfather to Emily Saporito. Dear brother of Kathleen Steinberger.
