Josephine Colaianni Fusco, 107, of Elizabeth, NJ entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation in the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home, 301. E. Blancke Street Linden, on Monday, July 22, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at which time a Funeral Service will be held.  Cremation will be private.

Josephine was born in Bronx, NY to the late Vincent and Carmela Mazza Colaianni. She was raised in Elizabeth where she lived from 1922 till  1952, moving to Roselle Park in 1952. She then moved to Roselle from 1959 to 2003 before moving to Union, then Elizabeth.

She was a Piano Accompanist for the Elizabeth Board of Education from 1955 to 1975, and was a professional Jazz Piano Player for many years.

Josephine was an active member of the Community Methodist Church in Roselle Park and a former member of the Roselle Golf Club.

She was the loving wife to the late Fernando "Fred" Fusco who passed away in 2003. Loving mother to Linda Tortorici and her husband Michael and the late Andrew Fusco. Dearest mother-in-law of Judy Fusco,  Cherished grandmother to Michael and his wife Ashley, Robert and his wife Corinne, Erin Means and her husband Sean and Bella Fusco. Great-Grandmother to Luke, Ella, Jack, Olivia, Josephine and Maddie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephew.

In lieu of flowers donation to Center for Hope Hospice 111 Dehart Place, Elizabeth, NJ 07202 in her name would be appreciated.
