Kathleen Eckman aged 59 passed away on March 14th. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Kathleen was born on February 19th 1965 in the Bronx NY. She lived on City Island in the Bronx before her family moved to New Providence NJ where she spent her formative years. She attended Our Lady of Peace grammar school and graduated from New Providence High School.

Kathleen spent many years working in retail jobs, however, her true passion was working with dogs. She spent her free time rescuing and boarding greyhounds. She loved her pets and cared for them like they were family.

Kathleen is survived by her brother Stephen Eckman, sister in law Leslie Eckman, brother Walter Knapp, nieces Emily Eckman, Abigail Knapp and Kately Knapp.

A private memorial services will be held for her family and close friends.
