Ken
West
March 11, 1951 – November 25, 2023
Kenneth "Ken West" West, 72, of Union, NJ entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 25, 2023. Ken was born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ prior to moving to Union in 1982. A skilled, self-employed carpenter for over 50 years, Ken's hands crafted countless homes throughout New Jersey. During his retirement, Ken was engaged in a variety of home improvement projects for his friends and family.
Known as the life of the party, Ken had the ability to bring smiles to anyone he encountered. Among his joys were his tight-knit family, coffee and scratch off lottery tickets from QuickChek, trips to the casino, dirty martinis with Belvedere Vodka, watching football, dancing, and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
For 42 years, Ken was the devoted husband of Theresa (DiGirolamo) West. Ken's legacy extends through his children William West and his wife Melissa, Amber Jimenez and her husband Brian, Michelle Aliseo and her husband Jeff, and Michael West and his wife Maria. Ken was the oldest brother to Daniel West (Michele), Donna West (Melvin), Laura Fernicola (Dennis), and the late Robert West. Ken also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren Myles and Nora Rose Jimenez & Frank, Benjamin, and Peter Aliseo. Ken is remembered fondly by his dear brother-in-law Gary DiGirolamo and his many nieces and nephews.
