Lawrence Macchia, 81, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the burial with Military Honors on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 1:20p.m. in the BG William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.

Born on October 4, 1941 to the late Michael and Marie Manfredo Macchia in Rahway, N.J. He was raised in Roselle Park and lived his life traveling the country with the golf circuit. He also loved horse racing and the casino's.

Lawrence was an Army Veteran serving from 1960-1962 stationed in Germany during the Berlin Crisis.

He was a professional gold caddy, who caddied for pro's like Amy Alcott. He was still in touch with many of his caddy friends whom worked with in the 1960's and 70's.

Lawrence was predeceased by his brother Frank Macchia. He is survived by his niece Michelle Macchia, nephew Frank Macchia and his wife Amy and 2 great-grand nephews Daniel Silva and Logan Macchia and 1 great-niece Madelyn Macchia.

He's now resting peacefully at the casino in the sky with his brother Frank and his father Michael. RIP Uncle Larry.
