Lawrence (Larry) G. Schmid, 79, of Linden, NJ entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 20, 2023.

Larry was born and raised in Bronx, NY, he lived in Rahway, NJ before moving to Linden 5 years ago.

He was employed by Danfoss-Hago Company in Mountainside, NJ as a Quality Control Inspector for 30 years before he retired in 2018.

Larry proudly served in the United States Navy for 9 years during the Vietnam War.

Larry was the loving husband of 33 years to Lorraine Miller Schmid. Loving father to Jerald Joseph Evans and his wife Patricia and Tracy Evans Moyer and her husband James. Brother in-law to Henry Allers. Cherished grandfather to Victoria Marie Evans and her husband Matthew, Jerald Joseph Evans, Jr., Wesley Moyer Matthew Moyer and Amanda Moyer. Dear uncle to Patti Ann Loew.

Private services were held under the direction of the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home, Linden, NJ.
