Lidia Rodrigues Fernandes, 89, of Linden, NJ entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 27, 2023.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 9am from the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home, 301 E. Blancke Street Linden. The Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Elizabeth Church Linden at 10am. Visiting hours are on Monday from 6pm to 9pm. Cremation is private

Lidia was born and raised in Valenca do Minho Portugal. She came to the United States along with her late husband in 1966 and settled in Linden.

She was a Machine Operator for the Hilton M.F.G. Co. in Linden for 30 years before the company closed.

Lidia was the loving wife to the late Armindo Fernandes who passed away in 2014. Loving mother to Albert (Al) Fernandes and the late Antonio (Tony) who passed away in 2019. Loving and cherished grandmother to Lydia Fernandes, Maria Szeliga and her husband Mike  and the late David Fernandes who passed away in 2018.
