Marcelino Cortez Rivera was born in Arecibo (Cotto) Puerto Rico.  He worked as a General Mechanic for Premier Pork in Wrightstown and was formerly a NJ Maintenance Supervisor at the Trent Center in Trenton.

As an honorably discharged veteran Marcelino retired from the US National Guard in 2002, 1st Battalion 150th Aviation after 32 years of service.

Marcelino was predeceased by his parents; Juana Rivera Hernandez and Marcelo (Chino) Ortiz Cortes both of Arecibo, Puerto Rico.

He is survived by his siblings; Luis Fernando Cortes and Carmen Dolores Cortes both of Hamilton, and loving friend and caregiver, Faith Rogers.
