Mary M. (Kachmar) Alberto, 96, of Linden, NJ entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 9, 2024.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral on Thursday, February 15th, 2024 in the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home 301 E. Blancke Street Linden. The Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Elizabeth Church Linden at 11 a.m. Visiting hours are on Thursday morning from 9 to 10:30a.m. Entombment St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.

Mary was born to the late Andrew and Mary Lichvar Kachmar and raised in Larksville, PA before coming to Linden in 1948.

She worked for Merck and Co. in Rahway as a secretary for many years before she retired in 1990. Mary especially loved her shopping trips to Pa. and enjoyed her day trips to Atlantic City.

Mary was the loving wife to the late Edward J. Alberto who passed away in 1998. She was predeceased by her brother Andrew Kachmar and her sisters Helen Albowicz and Ethel Olpinski. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
