Mary E. Cagle Hodoske, 76, of Rahway, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 3rd 2023.

Relatives and Friends are kindly invited to attend the Memorial Gathering on Saturday August 19th from 12pm till 2pm in the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home 301 East Blancke Street Linden. At 2pm Military Honors will be presented by the U. S. Army Honor Guard.

Burial of cremains will be in Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery alongside her husband.

Mary was born and raised in Central Illinois before moving to Rahway in 1968. Mary proudly served in the United States Army from 1966 - 1969 attaining the rank of Specialist 5th Class.  Mary worked in the Telecom Industry for over 30 years before retiring with the Verizon Co. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Hodoske who died January 31,2023.

Mary was preceded in passing by her parents, Earnest Doss Cagle and Hattie Adeline (Rutherford) Cagle, her sisters Earnestine (Cagle) Barrow and Ninette Cagle. She is survived by her sister Vickie (Cagle) Matesa and Sister- in-law Peggy Hodoske Stickle and Mary Ann (Hodoske) O'Halloran Bessinger. Mary was the loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and  a endearing friend to many who came to know her.
