Nestor R. Duran

April 26, 1960 - August 2, 2024

Nestor R. Duran Munoz, 64, peacefully passed away on August 2, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.

Nestor was born on April 26, 1960 to Blanca Munoz and Leonicio Duran in the city of Cuenca in Ecuador.  Nestor graduated from University, where he obtained a degree in Teaching and went on to teach music.

Later, Nestor moved to the United States where he worked in several different industries, with more than 24 years as a maintenance employee.

Nestor was passionate about his work and loved what he did for a living. He loved spending time with his family and friends, as well as his sweet dog Chiqui. Nestor made the time to show up for everyone who reached out.

Nestor is survived by his wife, Gloria E. Cortes; siblings Eustela, Nelly, Gloria and Rebecca Duran Munoz; children Jessica, Jessenia, and Kevin Duran; grandchildren Andres, Aaron, and Ariel Salavarria; and a host of other relatives and friends.
