Obituary

Paul Stout Heteji Jr, 80 of Linden, NJ entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 12, 2023.  Paul was born at Camp Atterbury, Indiana. He was raised in North Plainfield,NJ by the deceased Paul Stout Heteji Sr. and Catherine Frances (Phelan). He graduated from North Plainfield High School (Class of '61) where he played football. He graduated from PA Military College with a Degree in Accounting and from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Master's Degree as a Corporate Tax Specialist. In 1970 he settled down in Livingston, NJ to have a family.

He was a career Tax Specialist, employed by Marsh McClennan in New York for the past 20 years working up to the day he passed away. Previous employers included a fond 20+-year tenure at Witco Corporation in New York.

Paul was an outdoors guy; he loved his time at the Jersey Shore, boating, art, sailing, taking vacations to Cape May, Europe, Italy, and Florida and listening to classical music. Paul was the loving husband of 28 years to Charlotte (Jane) Rotunno Heteji. Loving father to Lauren Carol Heteji, Lianne Christine Carp and her husband William, and to Michael Gallo. A dear brother to Peter Dunham Heteji, Thomas Phelan Heteji and his wife Barbara. A cherished grandfather to Josephine and Lucy Gallo.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, June 16th from 4pm to 8pm at the the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home 301 E. Blancke Street Linden. The funeral will take place on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 8:45 am from the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home, with the Funeral Mass being offered at Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park, NJ at 10 am. Interment to follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.

In lieu of flowers donation to the National Kidney Foundation kidney.org or the American Diabetes Foundation diabetes.org in his memory would be appreciated.
