Ralph Williams Sr., was born August 22, 1946 in Savannah, GA. He departed this life on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at home surrounded by family. Ralph was a long-time resident of Trenton, NJ, moving there at the age of 12. After graduating from James Madison High School, he went on to receive a plethora of certifications including: Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Certified Forensic Counselor, Certified Gang Specialist, Certified Life Coach, and Certified Peer Recovery Specialist. He was a member of the Galilee Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. John H. Harris. He retired from the City of Trenton, Department of Health as a Field Representative – Substance Abuse Prevention and Education. He was also A Group Counselor, Community Liaison and Peer Specialist with Trenton Treatment Center, Behavioral Tech and Group Facilitator with Leading Edge Recovery, Senior Facilitator with Family and Youth, Inc., Counselor for Mercer Council on Alcoholism and Drug Addiction, a Facilitator with Life Skills Academy, and an Outreach Worker for Covenant House. He was also the Founder of Project Now Inc. and a founding member of Brothers in Gratitude, Inc. He is predeceased by his parents: Robert Watkins, Lula Belle Perry and Ellis Perry Sr. (step-father); siblings: Roland Anderson, Glenwood Anderson, Tanita Faye Walker, John Watkins. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 14 years, Lynnette Williams; children, Ralph Williams, Jr. (Dawn) of Ewing, NJ, SaConda Livingston (Steve), Michael Anthony, Dana Gavin (fiancé,Titus Peters), Imani West (Jon); grandchildren: Jaamir Brittingham, Charnelle Hall, Tiffany Williams, Gabrielle Williams, Danaya & Danasia Jackson, Ralph Williams, Trinity Jackson, Jon Paul West, Janelle West; two very special aunts, Minnie Mae Wade, and Janie L. Williams; sisters: Diane Alexander (Moses), Cynthia Snowden (Author); Dorothy Meadow (George), Cheryl Watkins, Tracy Watkins, Ann Bonner, Diane Brown, Carolyn Cooper; brothers: Ellis Perry, Jr. (Vera), James Watkins (Paula), Brian Watkins (Florizel); brothers and sisters from the heart: Cheyanne Johnson, Akbar Jenkins, Carl Johnson, Shalik Johnson, Nemiah Johnson (Marie); and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
