Rice Masongo, 45, of Keyport, NJ entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation on Friday, May 23, 2025 from 9 a.m. till 11 a.m. in the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home, 301 E. Blancke Street Linden. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Rosedale Memorial Park, Linden.

Rice was born and raised in Kisii, Kenya, before coming to the United State.

Rice received an associates degree from Essex County College in electrical engineering. He worked for Abbott Laboratories and Ashwin-Ushas Corp.

Rice is survived by his parents Fredrick Masongo-Ongau and Teresa Kemunto Masongo. Husband to Barbara Burkel Masongo. Father to Michael Daniel and Keira Lynn Masongo and the late Daneyah Nicole. Brother to his twin brother Festus Ogolla,  Robinson Ongau, Delfine Bonareri and the late Danfus Onguso.
