Richard C. Arnold, 61, of Linden, NJ,. Beloved Son, Father and Pop Pop, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 29, 2023.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in Linden on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 10:45am. 220 E. Blancke Street, Linden.

Richard was born in Elizabeth to Lorraine Russo and the late Richard Arnold. He was raised in Colts Neck/Freehold, where he grew up with a love for horses and made a career out of Training and Racing them. There was one horse in particular that he took much pride in. BJs Rocky Vacation was a horse he bred, delivered and raised to be an extraordinary stallion.

Richard was avid sports fan who loved the Green Bay Packers, the New York Yankees and horse racing.

But there was nothing he loved more than his family.

Richard was the beloved husband of Mary Pietrapertosa Arnold to whom he was married for 38 years. A loving father to his daughter, Annalisa Sangiovanni and her husband John Sangiovanni and his son, Richie Rocco Arnold and his wife Lauren Pompeo Arnold. He was also a proud Pop Pop to three beautiful granddaughters Vienna, Aria and Olivia. Richard was a dear brother to Kelly Vigilante, Karen Russo and Scott Ribsam. He was also a very much a father figure to his many nieces and nephews. A true Patriarch to his family, he will be sadly missed by all who love him.
