Richard M. Weber, Sr. 63, a lifelong Linden resident entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 3, 2022.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 9 am from the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home 301 E. Blancke Street Linden. The Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Elizabeth Church at 10 am. Interment to follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery Colonia. Visiting hours are on Thursday from 4 to 8 pm.

Richard was born in Rahway on December 31, 1958 to the late Thomas and Joan Ligush Weber and graduated from Linden High School in 1976.

He was employed by the City of Linden in the Recreation Department for 41 years retiring in 2018 as a Supervisor.

Richard was an avid fisherman, who was a fan of the Mets, Jets and Rangers who also liked boating and spending time with his family and friends.

He was the loving husband of 37 years to Donna Reksc Weber. Loving father of Richard M. Weber Jr. and his fiancé Victoria and Dana Weber. Loving brother of Thomas Weber and his wife Mary, Michael Weber and his wife Judy, Stephen Weber and his fiancé Lisa, Cynthia Deegan and her husband Brian, his sister In-law Ellen Weber and his late brother Robert. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by his aunts, Jane Weber and Elizabeth Prielaida and the late Edward Weber. Also survived by his mother In-law Dorothy Reksc and the late Frank Reksc. Also surviving is his sister in-law's Linda Spano and her husband Andrew and Susan Caliguari and her husband Peter and his dogs Sandy and Summer.
