Rosemarie Pytko Balak, 80, of Iselin, NJ entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 20, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 9 a.m. from the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home, 301 E. Blancke Street, Linden. The Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Elizabeth Church Linden at 9:45 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visiting hours are on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Rosemarie was born in Elizabeth, NJ, she lived in Linden before moving to Iselin 58 years ago. She was a homemaker taking care of her family once her children were grown she was the Head Waitress at the Polish National Home in Linden for many years.

She loved to cook and was big into Scrabble, "Words with Friends" and crossword puzzles.

Rosemarie was the loving wife of 59 years to Michael E. Balak. Loving mother to Denise Murphy and her husband Kenneth, Michael and his companion Denise Dobos and James and his wife Christine. Dear sister to Suzanne Miliano and her husband Anthony and the late Theodore Pytko and Marguerite Stulack. Cherished grandmother to Corinne Sannuti, Colleen Cruz, Brett Murphy, Lauren Balak and Ryan Balak. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
