Rosiland Faith Keys, daughter of the late Lillian L. Taylor and Ulysses David Archie, was born on March 15, 1965, in Trenton, New Jersey.
Rosiland was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and cherished friend. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her with her kindness, strength, and unwavering love.
On Friday, September 19, 2025, Rosiland peacefully departed this life, surrounded by her loving husband and children.
In addition to her parents, Rosiland was preceded in death by her sister, Darlene Archie; her brothers, David Taylor and Kevin Taylor; Leo Reed and her father-in-law, James T. Keys, Sr.
Rosiland leaves to cherish her memory: her devoted husband and the love of her life, Torrence Keys; her children, Jimmar Taylor, Kareem Jones, and Aki Taylor; her adopted daughter, Mardea Beatrice Thompson; her stepson, Torrence Keys Jr.; and her stepdaughter, Nyasia Keys. She is also survived by her sisters, June Stanley, Amanda Blake (Alicia), and Caren McNair; her brothers, Mufeed-Ali Muhammad (Lamont), Ernest Taylor (Cookie), and Ronald Taylor; her mother-in-law, Leila Keys; her brother-in-law, James T. Keys, Jr.; and her sisters-in-law, Michelle Keys and Tamyra Harris.
She was the proud grandmother of Quameir Billup Taylor, Amir, Aki, Lillian Taylor, and Akira Davis; her Godchildren, Michelle Miller; Joseph and Josiah DeLee and Kaysani George , a special niece Ameera Blake along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Rosiland was known by many as a true fashionista. She had a radiant sense of style and a special love for boots, which became one of her signature looks.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and she will forever be remembered for her warmth, compassion, and enduring spirit.
