Samantha Eugenia Solomon was born April 5th, 1982 to the late Eunice Solomon.
Samantha departed this life on April 11th at the comfort of her home. Predeceased was her nephew Korey Solomon who she loved as her own.
Samantha affectionately known as "Sally" to friends and family was born in Trenton, NJ. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was educated in the Trenton Public School System.
For those who knew her, knew she loved her children and grandchildren. Samantha loved her grandmother Dorothy Pettaway, the mother who raised her since birth.
Samantha always love to joke and makes others laugh. There was never a dull moment when you were in her presence. Samantha enjoyed feeding the neighborhood and showing love to all the children. She often used the name " Iaya Lewis" when she knew, she was in trouble. We, her children laughed hysterically. Because she, said it with so much confidence. Samantha was in infatuated with stylish sunglasses, clothes, and keeping her hair done.
Samantha and her sister Lataya was two pieces of dynamite together. They were like Bonnie and Clyde.
Her son Darius remembers telling his teachers to call his sister Breanna, to discuss when Darius was not behaving. Because he knew his mother would be disappointed and show up to the school to punish him. Samantha enjoyed her family!
Samantha leaves to mourn and cherish her life, father Samuel Eugene Pettaway (Trenton), Grandmother Dorothy Pettaway. Her beautiful children, Breanna Solomon Calix (Richard Calix), Breasia Solomon (Trenton) and son Darius Solomon (Trenton). Sister, Lataya Solomon (Pennsylvania). Two grandchildren Mazai Davis and Mason Davis. Two Uncles Monty Pettaway (Cynthia Pettaway) of Trenton, and Alexander Pettaway (Alabama). Her Niece, Kortney Solomon that was raised in the same home. Samantha has a host of cousins that she loved and was close to. Shanell, Shabree, Monty and Matika. Samantha was overjoyed and her dad brought her complete happiness once they reunited. A significant thank you to Uncle Monty (Monk) and Aunt Cynt who were there from the beginning to the end. They will always keep Samantha in their hearts. Significant friends, Terrell Conway, Nathaniel Updike, Shawana Jones, and Marybella Sanchez and numerous friends.
